Dear Aquila,

I’d like to thank you for understanding exactly what I needed on my recent vacation. I wanted privacy, seclusion and some time to restore my inner-self. These things just can’t be guaranteed at a resort where all the best areas are shared, often with screaming kids. However with the luxury oasis you have created, my serenity was assured.

I could read, completely uninterrupted in either of the beautiful salas, the library or on the sun-beds, depending on my mood. The staff were invisible yet would arrive instantly if I required anything.

After a stressful year this short break was well-deserved and extremely needed for myself. Thank you Aquila and each one of the staff for exceeding my expectations in every single way and allowing me and my friends to fully unplug.

A few words to describe our experience and enjoyment.

My wife booked the Aquila for 3 nights, for our family and some close friends to celebrate my 45th birthday. What a surprise! This simply is perfection by the sea. If you think it looks good in pictures, then imagine that in 360 degrees real-life surround viewing. I spent most of my time being awe-struck with the view and mesmerized from watching the waves crash onto the rocks below.

But this was nothing compared to what she had in store. On the 2nd night (my birthday) unknown to me she had organised a surprise party extravaganza. Close to 40 friends flew in from around the globe to celebrate. The catering team and the Aquila staff at the managed everything to perfection. The food was heavenly and drinks flowed all night. From fresh spring rolls with shrimp, to icy draught beer or champagne. There was something for everyone. We really enjoyed the soiree on the pool level and the downstairs party room was shaking till the early hours.

This must be the ultimate venue for any celebration, with the incredible views over the ocean, the pool, the entertainment room and bar – and total privacy. All of it came together to make a night I most certainly will never forget. Big thanks to all the staff at the Aquila for making it perfect.

As a surprise I treated my wife and our extended family to a 3 night stay at Villa Aquila. This was by far the most rewarding gift I have ever given. We spent 4 days in this little slice of heaven. I have owned luxury property before and know just how difficult it is to get it all working just right all the time. Somehow, the staff at The Aquila managed to do that. Whatever we so desired over the days of our stay was delivered, by the amazing Nadia and her team of staff.

Most of our stay revolved around eating, drinking and recharging our batteries by the pool so it was important that these things were done correctly, and they were. Food was fresh, tasty and prepared to order exactly the way we wanted and when we wanted. There was always a cold drink available with a smiling face behind it.

The property speaks for itself, and could hold its own as a luxury destination equal to and in many ways superior to any competitors in most corners of the world. Well done Aquila, you have created a special little piece of paradise.

Our family recently spent a few leisurely days at The Aquila in Phuket, being pampered. What a contrast to our previous visits to Phuket and the hustle and bustle of Patong Beach. On leaving the airport, we were driven past the beautiful Kamala Beach before following the Andaman Coast over several headlands to the entrance to The Aquila.

The Aquila boasts world class facilities, exceptional accommodation and service. For our family, everything revolved around the infinity pool perched above the ocean. We were either swimming or in the Salas at either end relaxing, eating and enjoying a glass of wine. My wife enjoyed sitting in the comfort of sprawling lounge and library area behind where she spent her days reading or watching movies. The formal dining area at the Villa is lovely but we preferred to eat all our meals outdoors and make the most of the perfect weather and be right next to the view.

Sleeping accommodation featured high ceilings with full height windows to take in the ocean views listening to the waves lapping the rocks below. We slept with the doors open every night to enjoy the cool air and the sound of the ocean.

Our chef provided us with an endless variety of dishes, all staff were friendly and competent but not intrusive and spoke good English. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, luxuriating around the pool, eating and drinking, great sunsets and all in complete privacy in our own cove. We look forward to many more visits to Aquila. Thank you for making our stay one we will never forget.

I’d like to personally thank the staff of The Aquila for providing us with a trip we will never forget. It was with a heavy heart and a camera full of photos that we left this gem after 3 brilliant sun-soaked days. It’s easy to feel like you are the star of a Hollywood movie, as you slip off your towel and sink into the pool. My own private haven, completely private and serene.

I must have spent hours each day just gazing as the scenery that surrounded me. It was one of those moments of clarity when you realise how beautiful our World is. For those times not spent in the pool, books, movies, music, and laughter all made my short holiday the best holiday i have had. Good things are often cheap, and cheap things aren’t often good, it’s for these reasons that if I want to stay in the best, I won’t settle for less, and The Aquila villa didn’t disappoint.

A beautiful villa in an idyllic setting. Combine this with 5-star service and wonderful food and you have a winning combination. I have stayed at many high end resorts on Phuket, but all pale in comparison to my time spent at The Aquila.

Kamala Beach is my preference over other areas on Phuket, due to its laid-back vibe and village feel, so it was a bonus for me that this was the local beach for the villa. And suddenly Kamala has some amazing world class beach clubs – i was very impressed by HQ and the new Cafe del Mar. It was a delight for me to take my morning walk on the beach and then back to the villa for lazy afternoons and evenings.

Thank you to all the staff at Villa Aquila, you were wonderful and I’ll most definitely be back.

Luxurious Private Resort

We arrived at The Aquila Villa and were welcomed by the staff, as bags were whisked off to our rooms. As we began our descent from the parking area, all stress washed away once we saw the fantastic view of the Andaman Sea. This non-stop view is truly spectacular and is just one of the many perks of staying at The Aquila. Our rooms were large, well decorated and all had some fantastic views of the sea (some also had private outdoor showers). We were truly staying at our own, private, luxury resort. The staff ensured that our stay was as stress-free and relaxing as possible. Their willingness to help with anything allowed for us to have a constant feeling of peace. The Chef’s menus were tasty, well-thought out and extensive. Aquila is built on a cliff and, at daylight and sunset, local eagles put on a show by soaring over the sea. The sounds of the jungle and the waves below were ever ever-present. The infinity pool enhances the serenity and tranquility, as you look out across the vast horizon getting lost in the sounds of nature. The game room with billiards and ping pong provided a handy escape from the sun, and occasional, rain.

There are many beaches and towns nearby, but our favorite was Surin Beach. You really do not ever need to leave Aquila though, as the food and the view are better than you will experience going out to the surrounding areas. We still imagine ourselves sitting at the outside dining table, daydreaming of the great meals and breathtaking scenery. We also had wonderful massages in The Aquila’s spa room that were arranged by the staff. If you are looking for a relaxing, beautiful and amenity filled villa to rent on Phuket that will calm your soul with great views and service, The Aquila Villa will meet your every need and exceed even the greatest expectations.

World class villa in a stunning location

To say that I had been stunned with the Aquila is to say nothing. Located in a picturesque cliff and complimented by an infinity pool, villa boasts 7 bedrooms and 8,5 bathrooms, a library, a home theatre, a game room, a dining room and even a private spa!!!

The calmness of the grandiose villa that is surrounded by an exotic tropical forest i could only compare to some delightful venues in Cote D’Azure.

We had been greeted by all the staff at the arrivals and throughout the stay we had been treated as royalties, being served by the private chef, waiters and an amazing butler Deaw.

I can assure you-you will have enough entertainment in the villa itself but once you want to go out in town, a car with a driver is to your service for a quick 20 min ride to one Phuket’s lavish restaurants or a fun boasting walking street.

Back to The Aquila you will find your dinner cooked and rooms are fresh and ready for a restful and relaxing night.

Living the dream…

Staying in this villa is like living in a dream, it topped all our expectations with ease.

Upon arrival in this secured domain we were welcomed by the friendly staff with a refreshing coconut drink. Subsequently we were guided throughout the villa, we were blown away by the outstanding luxury architectural design and especially amazed by the ocean views. The villa consists of a main building with three levels and several separate buildings containing the 7 bedrooms including 7 bathrooms.
My bedroom had a highly comfortable bed, walk-in closet, a sitting area and an amazing bathroom including an outdoor shower with view on the Andaman sea. Waking up with these fantastic views feels extra-ordinary.
Thanks to the chef of the villa we discovered the delicious Thai cuisine, he made us numerous traditional Thai dishes and a Thai barbecue with fresh seafood.
The villa is perfect to spend quality time with family and friends. Apart from enjoying the infinity pool, you can swim in the sea (direct access from the villa), snorkeling in its own reef, there is a extended library, movie room, a private spa, gym, and much more to do. In the neighborhood you can find some wonderful beaches as well.
This is a place where you can truly disconnect from the world within a few hours after arrival and escape from the busy world and your daily hectic life.

We sincerely had the best time here.

There are few places in the World that have taken my breath away with their natural beauty and the Aquila is one of them. The villa is perfectly perched high on a tropical cliff overlooking the ocean with the most breathtaking views, especially of the fiery sunsets in the evening which are just like oil paintings. Staying in this villa is like living in a dream, it topped all our expectations. The infinity pool perched above the ocean which faces the Andaman Sea was just out of this world and listening to the sound of the crashing waves on the rocks below was music to our ears. Could not fault this villa at all, as everything was superb and staff were amazing. Highly recommended by me. A class above the rest.

The Aquila was beyond outstanding. I am not really sure how to describe it best, but with two simple words perhaps i would say “Mind Blowing”. I have traveled to many parts of the world but this place was really special with it’s natural beauty and the infinity pool over looking the Andaman Sea. Definitely a world class Villa. On arrival we were welcomed by the friendly staff and a refreshing drink. The staff and chef were so accommodating ,attentive and very professional. They provided all manner of delicious Thai cuisine and the Thai barbecue fresh seafood was just superb. Thank you to staff and management for marking it possible and unforgettable stay we all had the best time and i will certainly be highly recommending The Aquila Villa to my friends and family.

The Aquila was wonderful resort with brilliant friendly service, a week was too short ! Great rooms, loved the villa pool and outdoor rain shower, the service and staff advice was fantastic. Had some great meals at the restaurant, loved breakfast, amazing helpful staff, great for a romantic holiday as it is not too close to the busy tourist areas, great shopping at the weekend Phuket market, give yourself plenty of time there, don’t bother going to the shopping centre via free shuttle as it is expensive, if you want to go to the beach we recommend hiring a car to get around, we used Orange car Phuket (easy find in google). Also we had a great message and facial in the spa area, take advantage of the discount if you can.

I stayed at the Aquila in June, I though this villa was great for us which has a very nice and natural pool for you to swim 24 hours a day if you are in the villa. Everywhere the staff was paying great attention to you as you are a king and queen. If you prefer help from them please don’t be hesitate to let them know. I am sure they will give you their hands. The room was absolutely clean and beautiful decorated. If you are planning to visit Phuket and wants to hire a car, Orange car Phuket (quickly found in google).

This Villa was just beyond outstanding i am really not sure how to describe the Aquila with one word, perhaps the best would be “Breathtaking”. I have traveled to many parts of the world , but this place was real postcard material with the natural beauty and the infinity pool over looking the Andaman Sea.
In comparison to other villas i have stayed in, the Aquila was the most luxurious and scenic by far, sitting in the Thai sala by the pool listening to that soft warm wind and the waves crashing on the rock cliffs below was perfect.
The Villa itself was so impressive , decorated and furnished in a modern Asian style with large entertaining areas. We could relax with a few glasses of wine after soaking up all that sun or a nice game of pool in the games room.
The staff at the Aquila were tremendous and our compliments to the chef who provided endless amazing dishes could not fault him at all. The only downfall was that we couldn’t stay longer this will inspire me to return again. This was one amazing and unforgettable stay.
